Technics

But why was Moto-Rêve so succsessful?
Maybe the engine was ahead of his time. If we take a closer look to it, we find a few technical highlights inside. Roller tappets moved over the camshaft instead of rocker arms. This reduced the inner frictional resistance a lot. The magneto was steered over a cascade of 6 gears, two of them are excentric. With the use of those exentric gears they where able to use a 90° magneto to power a v-engine with a 63 cylinder degrees. This idea was patented by Mr. Gianoli from Italy in 1905( Gianoli patent)
